Welcome to the Land of Brenda!

Welcome to my website!  I'm a corporate veteran who has enjoyed a second career as a working actor - in films, TV, industrials, voice over and print - for 10 years now.

And now, I've gone to the next level by building a site which houses examples of my work product.  Watching myself - the growth, the maturation, the weight gain, loss and gain again (!?!) - is both exciting and humbling.

However, there is yet another event about which I am proud to announce:  I've established at-home recording capability.  It's been a dream come true to finally be able to MP3 my voice product to potential and current clients.

So,  I invite you, Dear Visitor, to take a stroll through my humble abode, and enjoy "the Brenda experience"!  Please share your thoughts, comments and questions with me, as the journey continues...

Greetings!

I'm pleased to announce my appearance on "Fatal Encounters" a weekly episodic on the Investigation Discovery Channel. The episode is entitled, "Death Undercover".  It is scheduled to premier on Sunday, December 16, 2012, at 9 pm, Eastern time.  Check your local listings in the event of a rescheduling of the episode.  I am featured as the mother of Nicole Paultre Bell, Sean's bride-to-be.   "Death Undercover" is a dramatization of the true story of the Sean Bell shooting tragedy. According to Wikipedia, "The  incident took place in the New York City borough ofQueens, New York, United States on November 25, 2006, when three men were shot at a total of fifty times by a team of both plainclothes andundercover NYPD officers, killing one of the men, Sean Bell, on the morning before his wedding, and severely wounding two of his friends, Trent Benefield and Joseph Guzman. The incident sparked fierce criticism of the police from some members of the public and drew comparisons to the 1999 killing ofAmadou Diallo. Three of the five detectives involved in the shooting went to trial on charges ranging from manslaughter to reckless endangerment, and were found not guilty."
11/2012 Greetings to All!
I am featured in a full page ad, as part of the Merck & Co. "Taking Diabetes to Heart" print campaign, both in the November and December issues of Ebony Magazine, as well as the November 11th issue of Parade Magazine.  The print ad was part of a wonderful web shoot by Blue Sky Print Producing and Styling.
 9 & 10/2012 Greetings and salutations!
I have three regional radio spots running:  Sheffield Furniture - Allen Hite, of Spot One Productions (the MP3 is featured in the Voice Over section), my seasonal update for Community College of Philadelphia - John Baker of Philly Post and Center for Vein Restoration at Shooters Post and Transfer.
